Iran and Oman discuss plans to open a “middle route” in the Strait of Hormuz

Golden Finance reports that on July 11, sources said that Iran and Oman are currently discussing a statement, with plans to fully open the “central channel” of the Strait of Hormuz to ensure the safe, free passage of vessels. A well-informed diplomat added that Qatar officials are taking part in the Strait-related talks between Iran and Oman in Muscat.
