Wu said he learned that, according to CryptoRank data, among the newly listed tokens on CEXs (centralized exchanges) in the first half of 2026, the share of tokenized assets is close to one-fifth, far higher than the level of less than 7% in 2025. The growth is mainly driven by issuers such as xStocks, bStocks, and Ondo. Analysts point out that exchanges are shifting from the previous cycle’s “meme coin-driven” approach to actively listing tokenized versions of traditional financial assets.
