[Hong Kong stock futures + ADR + Northbound capital (Stock Connect)] Night session futures up 91 points; BYD ADR also rises (updating continuously)

[Hang Seng Index/HSI/Hang Seng Index/Hang Seng Index/HSI/Hang Seng Index/HK shares/night session/ADR] The night session rose by 91 points to 23,142 points. The China-concept stock index fell 1.3% to 5,942 points. BYD ADR outperformed Hong Kong stocks again by 1%.

Northbound capital outflows on the first trading day of the second half: $2 billion withdrawn; capital inflows to UP Fintech and iDreamSky, while large sellers offload Huahong Hongli and Greatek

Northbound capital saw net outflows of $1.97 billion. More net inflows went to UP Fintech (09880) and iDreamSky (02513). For the full day, they recorded inflows of $0.4 billion and $0.34 billion, respectively. Alibaba (09988) recorded net inflows of $0.3 billion. In terms of net outflows, Huahong Hongli (01347) and Greatek (01888) recorded net outflows of $1.72 billion and $1.41 billion, respectively.

At the start of the second half, Hang Seng index rose 174 points; BYD and CSPC up 8%, SMIC down one-tenth; XL two Southern Hynix and XL two Samsung each plunge more than 26%

Hong Kong stocks kicked off the second half with the overall market up more than 100 points. The Hang Seng Index opened higher by 190 points on the first trading day of July, opening at 23,071 points. It rose as much as 454 points, reaching a high of 23,335 points. The Hang Seng Index closed at 23,055 points, up 174 points, with turnover of $369.63 billion. The Tech Index fell 0.4% to 4,454 points. BYD (01211) and CSPC (01093) rose 8% each; SMIC (00981) fell one-tenth; Changfei Optic Fibre and Cable (06869) slumped 22%. XL two Southern Hynix (07709) and XL two Samsung (07747) fell by more than 26% each.
