🚨🇮🇳BREAKING: FSSAI just hit Swiggy Instamart with nine notices over spoiled and expired food complaints.

The worst one: an infant formula product came in visibly deteriorated and contaminated. The customer returned it. Platform allegedly resupplied the same product anyway.
Other complaints cover contaminated eggs, spoiled milk, damaged packaging, and sellers operating under license numbers that don't match their actual FSSAI registration.
Regulator says grievances kept getting escalated with no real fix, sometimes just a refund with the safety issue never addressed. Swiggy now has to submit a full compliance report or face legal action.
Quick commerce grew fast in India. Food safety oversight clearly didn't grow with it.
