Abstract generation in progress
Currently, based on the weather forecast and wind conditions, Typhoon “Bawi” is gradually affecting the city. To ensure operational safety, starting from 18:00 on July 11 until the end of operations, Metro Lines 2, 5, 16, and Pujiang Line will have speed limits on their elevated and at-grade sections. Subsequently, depending on the impact of the winds, the scope of speed-limited operations may be expanded. On July 12 and 13, the operator will, as appropriate, further implement speed-limited measures across all lines on the network according to changes in the typhoon and the degree of impact on operations. In the event of extreme circumstances, there may also be partial suspension of service. We will promptly issue notices to the public. Commuters are asked to pay attention to official real-time operation updates. (Shanghai Metro)
