The U.S. has once again released UFO documents, with footage of a “balloon-like” object going public
BlockBeats news: On July 11, the U.S. Department of Defense disclosed 40 documents related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs) that had been released on July 10. This is the fourth batch of such related documents that the U.S. Department of Defense has released at President Trump’s request since this May. The batch includes 14 documents, 19 videos, 4 audio segments, and 3 images. The files come from multiple U.S. government agencies, including the Department of Defense, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Energy, among others. About half of the documents were produced after 2010. Some videos were captured by the U.S. military’s infrared sensors; the footage is highly grainy and blurry, but a video recorded in 2020 has been partially regarded by some U.S. media outlets as “the clearest footage to date” among the related documents.
The video lasts 32 seconds and was provided by the U.S. Northern Command. The text report accompanying the video has been heavily redacted. In the report, a Navy weapons system operator said that the object was spotted in the air over the Atlantic, and that its “color is darker, chestnut-colored, approximately 12 to 15 feet tall (3.7 meters to 4.6 meters).” “Structurally, it looks like a slightly deformed balloon. When we flew past it, we couldn’t confirm that… then we continued on, returned to the ship, and landed safely.” (Xinhua)
