Many people think contracts are mysterious and complex, but in essence they’re just trading tools that amplify both profit and risk at the same time. $BTC

It’s true that you can make money fast, and it’s also true that you can lose money fast. So before entering, it’s more important to understand the rules than anything else. $ETH
First, don’t ignore the funding rate.
When the funding rate is positive, longs are paying shorts, which means market sentiment is bullish; if you blindly chase rising prices, you’re likely to get harvested. When the funding rate is negative, shorts are paying longs, which often indicates market sentiment is bearish—stay on high alert. $HYPE
Second is leverage.
Leverage is like a double-edged sword: while it magnifies returns, it also magnifies risk at the same time.
For most beginners, 3–5x leverage is already more than enough. Don’t always think about doing 30x or 100x to flip your position overnight— the market will deal with all kinds of “not taking anyone seriously.”
My own trading routine is simple:
Step one: read the trend.
First, look at the daily chart and the 4-hour timeframe. Combine moving averages and MACD to judge the bigger direction, and don’t force trades against the trend.
Step two: wait for the entry location.
Pull back to key support, or wait for the Bollinger Band midline to stabilize, or only consider entering after a breakout of a key resistance level with increased volume.
Step three: set a stop-loss.
Before opening a position, think about what you’ll do if you’re wrong—not about how much you want to make. If your direction is wrong, exit in time; a small loss is always better than getting liquidated.
Step four: know how to take profit.
If there’s profit, take it in batches—don’t “fall in love” with the market. Making enough money within your own level of understanding is enough.
And there’s one most important point:
At any time, no single position should exceed 30% of your total capital.
Because trading isn’t about who makes money the fastest—it’s about who can stay in the market for the long term.
Remember: opportunities are everywhere every day, but principal only comes once.
Don’t rush to get rich overnight—first learn how to stay alive.
