I want to note this $DOT short position in particular—not because the move was wildly big, but because the timing was very clean. Earlier, people kept shouting to continue pushing at the high level, but what I saw was that the rise was getting increasingly difficult, the pullback didn’t have any fresh momentum, and that level was critical.

After entering the short around 1.280, I didn’t rush to move it frequently. I mainly watched two things: first, whether the rebound could reclaim the key zone, and second, whether the selloff had continuity. The order flow was very straightforward: after the rebound failed, the shorts started accelerating. A lot of people hadn’t even reacted yet, and the price was already pushed down.

Now it’s at 0.878, and this trade is up +2228.44%. The move extension is clear. I won’t be greedy for the last bite here. I’ll realize profits in batches using an 80/20 approach, and I’ll keep the remaining position with a protective level to continue watching. The profit has already been taken—so I need to protect it first; otherwise, even the best judgment can be disrupted by volatility.

Realizing the short is realizing it—no chaos afterward. Don’t chase more, and don’t buy shorts at low levels either. I’ll wait for the next time at a more comfortable entry.
