This short position finally played out, and the market move was very decisive. That sharp spike ahead of $PARTI looked strong at first, but it was already clear that the high level was under pressure. What really caught my attention was that several attempts at the top failed—once the buy-side weakened, the momentum turned bearish.

For my side, I entered my short based on 0.06088. There was also a scary bounce during the period, and many people were still chasing the breakout at the time, but things were already off here. When the price dropped to around 0.0385, the return was +903.85%. The upside-downside move unfolded more directly than I expected.

Now isn’t the time to get excited—once the profit is in, handle the execution first. Those with heavier positions can consider splitting 80/20: take a portion off first, and keep the rest with a protection level while watching for further extension. Don’t let the profit you already captured get eaten back by a rebound.

If you didn’t get on board, don’t rush. The shorts coming out doesn’t mean you should just chase after it. If you miss it, you miss it—don’t chase lows. Wait for the next opportunity.
