Gome Electrical Appliances’ two subsidiary companies enter bankruptcy liquidation, involving total claims of approximately 110 million yuan

Gome Electrical Appliances Co., Ltd. has released an announcement regarding the bankruptcy of its important subsidiary and related progress. According to the announcement, Guangzhou Gome Trading Co., Ltd. was unable to repay Huizhou CooYou Network Technology Co., Ltd. RMB 35.3756 million and the associated interest, and the Guangzhou Intermediate People’s Court accepted the bankruptcy liquidation application on January 13, 2026. As Xi’an Gome Electrical Appliances Co., Ltd. was unable to repay Qishang Bank Co., Ltd., Xi’an Branch RMB 108 million and the associated interest, pursuant to a second-instance ruling by the Shaanxi Higher People’s Court, the Xi’an Intermediate People’s Court accepted the bankruptcy liquidation application on April 20, 2026. The announcement shows that Gome Electrical Appliances has creditor claims of RMB 105 million against Guangzhou Gome and RMB 5.1781 million against Xi’an Gome. The first meeting of creditors of Guangzhou Gome was held on March 2, 2026, but Gome Electrical Appliances did not file the creditor claim because Guangzhou Gome had no executable assets. As of the date of the announcement, Xi’an Gome has not yet designated a bankruptcy administrator, and Gome Electrical Appliances has also not filed a creditor claim.
