Coinbase engineering leader Brock Miller resigns and joins Anthropic as a member of the technical team
BlockBeats, July 11: Brock Miller, Coinbase’s engineering lead, posted to announce that after 8 years working at Coinbase, he left the company last month and has officially joined AI company Anthropic as a Member of Technical Staff, working on cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology R&D.
Miller said that joining Coinbase in 2018 was one of the most important decisions in his career. During his tenure, he helped build several industry-leading products and also witnessed the crypto industry evolve from being widely questioned to becoming an important part of the global financial system. He emphasized that he remains firmly optimistic about the growth of Coinbase and the crypto industry, and believes AI is profoundly changing the software engineering field. He said the future is still in the early stages of transformation, and therefore he looks forward to further advancing AI technology at Anthropic.
