Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 11, it was reported that, as OpenAI undergoes a reorganization, Johannes Heidecke, head of the company’s security systems, announced this week to his team that he has decided to step down. The core goal of this reorganization is to merge OpenAI’s security department with the research department. An internal memo shows that Mark Chen, OpenAI’s Chief Research Officer, said the security team will be led by Mia Glaese, Vice President of Research and head of integration affairs. Glaese will also serve as Vice President for both research and security. The former head of the security team, Saachi Jain, will become interim head of security systems and will report to Glaese.
