U.S. stock market’s three major indexes all closed higher; SK Hynix ADR rises nearly 13% on its first day of trading

Golden Finance reported that on July 11, all three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher: the Dow rose 0.29%, the Nasdaq rose 0.29%, and the S&P 500 rose 0.42%. Large-cap technology stocks saw mixed performance, with Meta rising nearly 6%, Nvidia rising more than 4%, SpaceX falling more than 4%, and Micron Technology falling more than 1%. Retail department stores, shoes and apparel, and the semiconductor sector moved higher, with CernLink Group rising more than 15%, Nike rising more than 3%, and AMD rising more than 2%. Airline services and biotechnology led the declines, with Moderna falling nearly 11%—its largest single-day drop since May 2025—along with Fidelity Travel falling more than 3%, JetBlue Airways and United Continental Airlines falling more than 2%, and Virgin Galactic falling nearly 2%. SK hynix ADR gained nearly 13% on its first day of trading on the U.S. stock market, reaching a market value of $1.23 trillion.
