Polymarket Wants Margin Trading in the U.S. Now? Well... Here We Go Again.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Polymarket has filed to bring margin trading to the United States.

Look, you already know where this is headed. First it's "just another feature." Then people start borrowing money to bet bigger, everyone feels like a genius for a week, and after that... reality shows up.

Here's the thing. Margin doesn't magically make anyone a better trader. It just makes mistakes a lot more expensive. I know what you're thinking: "Yeah, but I'll manage my risk." Sure. Everyone says that right before the market decides to do something completely ridiculous.

Honestly, this could bring more volume and more attention to Polymarket. That's probably the whole point. Bigger numbers. More activity. More headlines. But it also means higher risk, faster liquidations, and a lot more people learning hard lessons they thought only happened to someone else.

So yeah. Interesting move. Just don't confuse "more leverage" with "more opportunity." Those aren't always the same thing.
