Abstract generation in progress

SK hynix is considering selling the use rights of its memory chips in a new way, including so-called “memory as a service.” This means customers can rent storage resources from the Korean company without having to buy the chips. “We can actually offer other business models,” SK Group chairman Choi Tae-won said. “We can become a storage services provider and provide ‘memory as a service.’ In the future, this is actually another area we can focus on.”
