The short opportunity I was watching earlier has, today, finally delivered the answer. This move in $ESPORTS wasn’t suddenly weak—after failing to break through repeatedly at high levels, the flaws were exposed by the chart itself.

At the time, I was watching the suppression around 0.04371. Every time the price went up, it got slammed back down. A lot of people were still hesitating whether to chase longs, but here it was already clearly different. The pullback wasn’t strong, and the follow-through/holding was also flimsy. In this kind of position, I’d rather stand on the short side and wait for confirmation.

Now it’s hit 0.01792. This short trade is up +1161.75%. Once the volatility space opens up, the holding experience is completely different. Brothers with heavier positions, don’t get greedy all the way to the last bite—handling with an 80/20 approach in batches feels better. Use the remaining position with protective levels to lock in the pace. If it can keep going, let it keep going; if it can’t, take the profit with you.

What trading fears most is getting the direction right but letting emotions mess you up. If you didn’t enter, don’t chase the short—and don’t chase any trades. Just be patient and wait for the next opportunity.
