Abstract generation in progress
According to Chain Jie Network news, Bitwise has added Hyperliquid (HYPE) to its Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF. Previously, this token had outperformed most major crypto assets in 2026. The adjustment makes Hyperliquid part of the index’s main product lineup, while Polkadot and Avalanche have been removed. The inclusion of the HYPE token shifts it from a high-volatility trading asset to a managed portfolio product. According to market data, the HYPE token is currently trading at about $63.35. Wu Blockchain reported that after Bitwise’s Hyperliquid trading volume reached $1.34 trillion in the first half of the year, it was added to Bitwise 10. During this period, the protocol generated $320 million in revenue. Following the adjustment, HYPE’s weight in the fund is 0.95%.

In the first half of the year, transaction volume was 1.34 trillion and revenue was 320 million—these figures are stronger than many established L1s, so getting included isn’t unfair.

From meme coins with high volatility to an index component, HYPE has completed the most difficult leap in crypto assets—now the question is whether it can maintain its weight going forward.

0.95% weight doesn’t sound that high, but once it’s in an index ETF, it’s a real game-changer—institutional money will follow right after.

Bitwise’s rebalancing this round is kind of interesting—HYPE directly replaces DOT and AVAX, with high-volatility now turning into an institutional position, and the narrative has completely changed.
