#GateUS合规扩展佛罗里达 Gate US officially obtained a Florida Money Transmitter License (MTL) on July 10, 2026. As of now, its total number of state licenses has increased to 36, and its compliant operating scope covers 47 jurisdictions across the United States.

From August 2025 to now, Gate US’s compliance footprint has achieved a twofold expansion. Securing a Florida license is a key step in its U.S. strategy. Its strategic value is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

🎯 Seizing a key market to unlock incremental space

Florida is the third most populous state in the U.S. and one of the states with the highest cryptocurrency adoption rates. Obtaining a license in this state means Gate US can enter this huge and active market, providing compliant services including fund transfers, payment instrument issuance, and foreign exchange trading, directly tapping into substantial incremental users and liquidity.

🛡️ Building compliance barriers and establishing long-term trust

In the U.S., holding a state-level MTL license is a “hard threshold” for compliant operations. This requires platforms to meet strict standards such as anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC), helping to reduce operational and legal risks. This “license moat” is crucial for attracting institutional users and building long-term trust.

🌍 Strengthening the global layout and deepening its compliance image

Winning the Florida license further solidifies Gate US’s compliance network across the United States. Outside the U.S., Gate-related entities have also obtained regulatory approvals or registrations in multiple international jurisdictions such as Malta, Japan, Australia, and Dubai. Its increasingly established global image of “compliance first” is gradually taking shape.

Gate US’s acquisition of the Florida license is a successful move in a key market. It not only gains the legal “entry ticket” locally, but also completes a crucial piece of its compliance puzzle in the U.S. However, obtaining a license is only the starting point. In increasingly fierce competition, whether it can convert its compliance advantage into high-quality products and services will be the key to how deeply it can take root in the U.S. market.
