BlockBeats message. On July 10, Serenity posted that Mitsubishi Motors has reached a cooperation with Japan robotics company Highlanders, planning to deploy humanoid robots in 2027, further confirming that global automakers are accelerating their layout of the humanoid robot track.

Currently, multiple leading robotics companies have formed partnerships with major automakers, including Agility Robotics with Foxconn and Toyota, Apptronik with Jabil and Mercedes-Benz, Figure with BMW, Boston Dynamics with Hyundai Motor, and Optimus with Tesla, among others.

Serenity noted that overseas humanoid robotics companies are increasingly forming deep ties with major automakers, and some have even achieved vertical integration; in contrast, Chinese companies such as UBTech, AgiBot, and Unitree are more inclined to collaborate with multiple automakers, with cooperation models that are more open. The market is watching how this industry partnership trend will evolve in the future.
