US officials: We’ll fight while we negotiate, leaving room for diplomatic channels.

Golden Finance reports that on July 10, according to CNN, a U.S. official said that behind-the-scenes diplomatic efforts are underway to ease tensions in the U.S.-Iran conflict. The official said the U.S. has been deliberately launching strikes and then pausing to avoid escalation and leave room for diplomatic work, while also keeping a target list as leverage. In addition, several U.S. officials said they have prepared for possible strikes, but are currently allowing diplomatic measures to take the lead.
