Wu Shuo learned that Japanese payment infrastructure company INSPAY announced a partnership with Mysten Labs to integrate Sui stablecoins into offline scenarios such as vending machines, restaurants, and retail stores, with a first public demonstration at WebX 2026. Users can pay with USDsui via the Slush wallet; the official says transactions can be completed with no gas fees and confirmed within 1 second. The project is still in the concept validation stage, and it plans to support USDC and JPY stablecoins in the future.
