Revolut: The AI assistant can execute crypto trades on Revolut X

Abstract generation in progress
Coinjiekou.com reports that Revolut announced that its independent crypto exchange, Revolut X, has been connected to a third-party AI assistant. Users can use natural-language commands to research the market, monitor accounts, and prepare trades. Supported tools include Claude, Gemini, OpenClaw, and Cursor. Users can ask the AI assistant to fetch real-time market data, view account balances, and explain portfolio performance, and they can also create price alerts, check open positions, and prepare market or limit orders without returning to the Revolut X interface. Leonid Bashlykov, Revolut’s head of crypto products, said the AI assistant provides “faster workflows, smarter execution, and tighter integration.” However, the AI assistant does not have full trading authorization, and users still need to review and approve each order. Revolut also warned that it is not responsible for losses caused by errors in the output of third-party AI platforms.

A disclaimer saying the third-party AI isn’t responsible when it makes mistakes is quite slick.

Placing orders in natural language sounds cool, but you can’t do without the per-order review step—at the end of the day, the AI assistant still has to take cues from how people feel.
