Users were never the protagonist in the first place—they’re a severely vulnerable group.

Even to this day, Web3 is still so niche it’s pitiful. Every rule and every bit of innovation behind it was burned out by a batch of OGs, who used time and real money to trial and fail. What they originally wanted was simple: their own money, their own data—truly in their own hands, not taken away just because someone says a line.
Liquidity is provided by players, attention is provided by players, and consensus is accumulated by players. In the end, the power to set prices, the power to judge, and most of the profits all end up with exchanges, market makers, and capital.
Exchanges are just a water-pumping casino. I can never figure out how players could end up speaking up for the casino. Those “spiritual shareholders” are really enthusiastic—either something’s wrong with their minds, or their butt never really sat properly.
Speak up for mutual support—not because it’s morally noble, but because in the dark forest, it’s simply the only way for the disadvantaged to stay alive. 🙂
