After Xiaohongshu’s small-tool internal testing launched on the 8th, I looked into the details and felt it’s quite friendly for beginners.

With just basic HTML, CSS, and JS, you can complete the development—no complicated native compatibility work is needed. On the desktop creator back office, you can create new tools in the Builder Hub section, bundle them, submit them for review, and centrally manage operations such as tool iteration and take-downs/put-ups.
The tools run in an independent secure sandbox, operating fully locally and offline throughout. Data for each tool is isolated from one another, and practical core capabilities such as canvas and photo upload are already available. You can clearly feel that Xiaohongshu is continuously laying out related tracks and building a complete vibecoding ecosystem.
