Today I spent some time mapping out the complete development workflow of the Xiaohongshu small-tool beta test. The learning curve is really quite low.

First, on the desktop creator backend, open the corresponding section in Builder Hub and create a new tool. Fill in the name and icon, package the files, submit them, and wait for approval. Tool updates and takedowns can be managed here later in a unified way. After the approval is passed, post the note from your phone; a widget button in the bottom bar can be mounted with one click. Other users can then use it directly from the note page, and a single tool can be reused multiple times.
At the moment, these small tools are in a small-scale beta test. You can clearly see the platform continuing to improve its creative channels—Xiaohongshu is step by step building a complete vibecoding ecosystem.
