A man who trades crypto for a living—how can he return to normal life? Honestly, it’s hard.

I have a friend. When he first entered the crypto circle, he was pretty ordinary. He just tried trading futures. Then, with a bit of luck, in two days, he turned $1,500 of principal into $40k. $LAB
In that moment, he was totally floating—no exaggeration. He truly believed he’d found a “wealth password.”
But the problem started from then on.
Later, because of heavy positioning, going all-in, and holding through losses, the $40k slowly slid back to a few hundred. He should’ve stopped, but he couldn’t anymore.
Every day it’s just staring at the charts, phone never leaves his hand—watching while eating, watching before going to sleep. He’d say, “Only contract traders, not me,” but the moment there’s movement, he’s the quickest to jump in.
Put simply, once you’ve tasted the feeling of “fast money,” it’s very hard to pull yourself out.
Futures contracts are inherently extreme. Tens of times leverage is right there—if you get the direction right, your funds really do multiply quickly; but if you get it wrong even once, the drawdown can directly punch through. $EVAA
It’s more addictive than stock trading. Even more than a lot of gambling—because it gives you feedback too fast.
Stocks might move up to 10 percentage points in a day, and in the crypto market, hundreds of percentage points in a day aren’t unusual. This kind of pace makes people easily develop a delusion: thinking they can still win it back.
But in reality, most people don’t even get the chance to “break even” before the market wipes their account clean. $TAC
So you’ll see a very real situation: once futures trading gets you hooked, it’s really hard to turn back.
Not because you’re greedy—but because it’s too fast, too stimulating, and too likely to give you the illusion that “next round I can get my money back.”
Many people don’t lose because of technique. They lose because of this sense of rhythm.
The market will never give you a second chance just because you’re unwilling to accept it. #预测世界杯西班牙VS比利时

Smart contracts are basically “electronic heroin.” My friend is still standing in line on the rooftop right now.

It’s too real—those thoughts like “If I place one more trade, I can break even” don’t stop at all. Even at 3 a.m., I’m staring at the liquidation line.

So I’m only buying spot right now. Even though I make money slowly, at least I can sleep at night—the pace of contracts is something my heart can’t handle.
