A lot of people were just shouting that $ESPORTS should keep rallying, and then they immediately got smashed down from the high level. This kind of contrast is the most real thing about perpetual contracts. You can profit on shorts—not because you’re bold, but because that level has long been off.

At the time, what I was watching was the pressure around 0.04371. The price repeatedly tried to push higher, but it failed to produce a valid continuation. The buy-side looked lively, but the follow-through kept getting weaker. Once the signal came out, I didn’t hesitate—I shorted along with the weakness. Now the price is at 0.01875, and it’s up +1123.91% from the move, with the trend clearly extending.

The most critical thing in this run is not to get fooled into entering by the superficial pump. The more excited most people are, the more you need to check whether the funds keep pushing. Profits have already been released. I’ll first split into an 80/20 plan in batches, move the protection level up, and don’t let floating profit turn into emotional swings.

Miss it if you miss it. Don’t chase longs on the bounce, and don’t recklessly chase shorts either—wait for the next time a more certain opportunity appears.
