Golden Finance reported that on July 9, the “Database Development Research Report (2026)” was released to the public at the 2026 Trusted Database Development Conference. The report is expected to show that by 2028, the total size of China’s database market will reach 979.74 billion yuan, with a market CAGR of 13.06%. The report indicates that in 2025, the global database market size reached $131.6 billion. China’s database market size is $9.49 billion, accounting for 7.2% of the global market. As of June 2026, the number of global open-source and closed-source commercial products is basically on par; in China, the share of commercial databases exceeds 70%, and the share of open-source databases has increased.
