This short position finally paid off. $BNB had been chopping at the highs for too long— the longer it went on, the more it looked like distribution. This isn’t me making excuses after the fact. What really caught my attention back then was that the rebound couldn’t break through; the volume also couldn’t keep up. That level was already off.

On my side, I entered the short at 653.20 as a reference. Along the way, there were several pullback bounces that were really scary. A lot of people, once they see it being pulled back, start doubting the direction. But the key is right here: in a weak market, it’s not that it doesn’t rebound—it’s that the rebound provides better confirmation for shorting.

Now the price is at 576.75, and the floating profit is already up +830.45%. The market’s room to move has been released pretty decisively. Brothers with larger positions can handle it with an 80/20 approach: take profit on part of it first, and keep the remaining smaller lot with a protective level to watch for further extension. Don’t let the profit you have in hand get eaten back by a single rebound.

This move isn’t about guessing—it’s about waiting for the structure to loosen and then following the rhythm. If you didn’t get on the train, don’t rush. Don’t chase trades, and don’t chase shorts either. Wait for the next more comfortable position to act.
