Wu learned that Metaplanet, Metaplanet Securities, JPYC, and Progmat announced the launch of a joint research initiative on digital credit. The scope covers digital corporate bonds and other credit instruments. The four parties will explore using Bitcoin as a support or credit-enhancing asset, leveraging tokenized securities to manage rights and holders, and enabling on-chain interest payments, redemptions, and distributions through stablecoins such as JPYC, while also verifying the feasibility of 24/7 trading settlement and daily interest accrual. Currently, the issuance timing, terms, yield, and product format have not yet been determined.
