BlackRock yesterday listed a new Nasdaq 100 ETF with the ticker I, featuring a cost-effective annual management fee of only 0.1%.

In comparison, the two Invesco-issued Nasdaq 100 ETFs we are most familiar with, Q and QM, have annual management fees of 0.18% and 0.15% respectively, making I more affordable.

Additionally, for retail investors, the unit prices of Q and QM are quite high, already reaching several hundred dollars. If your broker does not support fractional share purchases, the threshold for DCA investing in these two ETFs is relatively high. In contrast, I has an initial price of only $24, making it very cheap.

Moreover, BlackRock is a long-established asset management firm with a reassuring overall strength.

If you are or are planning to long-term DCA into the Nasdaq, the I ETF should be the best choice going forward.

However, for short-term swing trading of the Nasdaq, it is still recommended to choose Q, as it currently has the largest scale and highest liquidity.
