CoinJie News: Zcash’s Ironwood network upgrade is scheduled for July 28. This upgrade will replace the Orchard pool that was previously attacked and may provide clues as to whether the recent vulnerability led to forged tokens. Zcash core developer Sean Bowe said the Ironwood mainnet activation height has been set to 3428143, and it is expected to activate at around 8:00 AM Eastern Time on July 28. This upgrade will shut down the current Orchard pool, prevent new activity, and establish a new private pool.

Sean Bowe personally sets the height—make a note of node 3428143 and see whether the activation goes smoothly.

The replacement of the Orchard pool is expected, since it was attacked. As long as Ironwood can plug the vulnerability, it will be fine.
