Mars Finance News, the National Energy Administration has issued the "Energy Sector Energy-Saving and Carbon Reduction Action Plan (2026-2028)". It mentions promoting the coordinated development of green electricity and emerging industries. It encourages the collaborative planning and construction of new energy bases and computing infrastructure. Support will be given to computing facilities to increase their green electricity consumption ratio, deeply exploring the temporal and spatial adjustable potential of computing loads to promote coordinated electricity-computing operations. Efficient cooling, high-performance power supply, and advanced waste heat resource recovery and utilization and other energy-saving technologies and equipment will be promoted to improve the energy efficiency of computing facilities.
