BlockBeats News, July 10 – According to insiders, Tencent is in discussions to become the largest shareholder of AI agent company Manus. Most existing investors, including Tencent, ZhenFund, and Sequoia China, are currently negotiating to support a deal valued at $2 billion in order to undo Meta's acquisition.

Previously, the Foreign Investment Security Review Office of the National Development and Reform Commission banned foreign investment in the Manus project and demanded the termination of the acquisition deal. Earlier this year, Manus had announced that it was about to be acquired by Meta.
