South Korea's financial regulatory authorities are closely monitoring the impact of single-stock leveraged ETFs on the market.

Golden Finance reported that on July 10, according to reports, South Korea’s chief presidential policy secretary, Kim Yong-beom, said in Seoul on Friday to reporters that South Korea’s financial regulators are closely monitoring the impact of single-stock leveraged ETFs on the market. Kim Yong-beom said that the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Bank of Korea, the Financial Services Commission, and the Financial Supervisory Service will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the various impacts that single-stock ETFs have had on the market since they were listed in May this year. Regulators will also study and decide whether supporting new regulatory rules are needed. (Cailianshe)
