Trend Strategy: Only Act When Three Conditions Align

In trading, I have taken many detours. I used to chase every breakout, only to get trapped, stop out, and watch the market rally without me. Repeatedly humiliated, I was almost broken mentally. Later, I gradually developed a method to filter high-probability opportunities, called "Three-Star Trend." The core principle is simple: if the three stars are not aligned, never act.

First Star: Breakout must be clean and decisive.

A clean breakout means that when price breaks a key support or resistance level, it must be done in one large candlestick—decisive, without hesitation. Dragging, repeated back-and-forth probing breakouts are often false signals. If major capital wants to push the price up, it won't leave much room for retail traders to conveniently board. A single large bullish candlestick breaking through, resolute and forceful, is the kind of move worth our attention.

Second Star: The initiation phase must show imbalance.

"Imbalance" here refers to a clear disparity in buying and selling power when the move begins. A specific judgment method is to observe the size of the candlestick's body and the length of its wicks. If the breakout comes with a large bullish or bearish candlestick with a long body and very short wicks, it indicates that buyers or sellers are aggressively grabbing positions, with extremely strong momentum. In contrast, slow progress via small consecutive bullish or bearish candles is vulnerable to being reversed by a single opposing candle and lacks sustained driving force.

Third Star: There must be a cleaning move before the breakout.

This is my deepest discovery from long-term backtesting. Before a major trend starts, major players often execute a quick "fake dip" or "fake breakout"—suddenly pushing price in the opposite direction to shake out chasers, those who cannot withstand the oscillations, and unstable followers, then quickly pull back to the original level, immediately followed by a direct breakout. The purpose of this move is clear: reduce selling pressure during the rally and clear out weak floating shares. The more thorough the cleaning, the less resistance the subsequent advance faces.

Only when all three resonate is it a high-probability opportunity.

Structural breakout, momentum imbalance, and cleaning washout—these three conditions are indispensable. At any time, if the three stars are not aligned, I choose to wait rather than enter. This strategy does not guarantee profit on every trade, but it significantly improves the win rate of entries.

Finally, no matter how perfect the strategy, risk control is always the top priority. Futures trading comes with leverage, and a stop-loss discipline is a must-hold bottom line. The purpose of the Three-Star strategy is to increase certainty, but the market has no absolutes—when it is time to admit a mistake, you must still exit decisively. #预测世界杯西班牙VS比利时

This method is the experience I gained from countless losses. I share it in the hope that it can inspire friends who are also on the trading path.
