CoinWorld news: Kimi Code has officially launched K2.7 Code HighSpeed, boosting output speed by 5 to 6 times. This mode has exited beta and is now a permanent optional option. The high-speed version uses the same model as the standard version; in typical programming scenarios it outputs about 180 token/s, and with short context it can reach up to 260 token/s. Members Allegretto and above do not need to apply and can use it directly in the Kimi Code CLI or other tools that support coding. CLI users can enter /model and select kimi-for-coding-highspeed to enable it. The high-speed version consumes 3 times the usage of the standard version, making it more suitable for coding tasks that prioritize response speed.

The normal version 180 is actually enough; high speed is reserved for emergency firefighting.
