The Paknam market, once bustling with lots of people, still had crowds even at around 4-5 PM, but now it’s quiet after 6 PM. Part of this is the result of the electric train—before it existed, people in the neighborhood had to come transfer to a bus at the market, because the buses’ last stop was near here. Two-row shuttle vehicles from all directions would pull over at the market. Now that there’s an electric train, people no longer need to enter the market to transfer vehicles.
