Israeli PM: "Will Not Allow" Iran to Have Nuclear Weapons; Plans to Significantly Increase Defense Budget

Golden Finance reported that on July 10, Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu, speaking on the 9th in local time, said that regardless of whether the United States and Iran reach an agreement, Israel will “not allow” Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. At the same time, Israel plans to increase its defense budget over the next 10 years, focusing on developing the air force and domestic defense industries. He announced that over the next 10 years, an additional 350 billion new shekels (about US$117.7 billion) will be added to the defense budget, with a substantial portion to be used for building the air force and developing domestic defense industries, in order to reduce reliance on overseas procurement.
