SemiAnalysis Publishes Report on Meta's Superintelligence Progress and Aggressive Compute Expansion
SemiAnalysis has released a report titled "The Future of Meta Superintelligence: A 1 Year Progress Update," highlighting Meta's rapid advancements in the AI field, including:
- Possessing a top-tier reinforcement learning (RL) environment startup;
- Undertaking the most aggressive compute expansion in the industry, building 5 ultra-large "Titan" compute clusters each exceeding 1GW;
- Constructing a massive interconnection network that can span up to approximately 2,000 kilometers.
The report suggests Meta may be the only major AI company currently capable of reaching top-tier levels across all three critical dimensions: data, talent, and compute.
According to SemiAnalysis's analysis, Meta's compute scale could surpass OpenAI and Anthropic by the end of this year, and is expected to catch up to Google within six months.
