Guizhou Bank: Elects Yang Hongjun as Chairman
Recently, Guizhou Bank issued an announcement stating that at the 2025 annual general meeting of shareholders held on June 30, 2026, the shareholders' meeting considered and approved a resolution to appoint Yang Hongjun as an executive director on the fourth board of directors. The board further announced that Yang Hongjun was elected chairman of the board at the board meeting held on June 30, 2026. Yang Hongjun will assume his duties from the date his qualifications are approved by the Guizhou Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, with a term ending on the conclusion of the fourth board of directors' term.
Yang Hongjun was born in December 1968. From September 1991 to February 2024, Yang Hongjun worked at the Qiandongnan Branch, Qianxinan Branch, and Guizhou Provincial Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China, serving successively as Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Jinping County Sub-branch, Deputy Director of the Party Committee Office, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department, and Deputy Director of the Office of the Guizhou Provincial Branch, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Qianxinan Branch, General Manager of the Personal Finance Department, General Manager of the Housing Finance and Personal Credit Department, General Manager of the Private Banking Department, General Manager of the Retail Banking Department, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Business Department, and Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Guizhou Provincial Branch concurrently serving as Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Guiyang Branch. From February 2024 to November 2025, he successively served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and President of the Guizhou Provincial Rural Credit Union. From November 2025, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and President of Guizhou Rural Commercial United Bank Co., Ltd. Yang Hongjun currently serves as Secretary of the Party Committee of Guizhou Bank.
