France's antitrust investigation into Nvidia nears conclusion, could face up to 10% of global annual revenue in fines.

Jinse Finance reports that on July 9, officials from the French Competition Authority confirmed that the antitrust investigation into AI chip giant Nvidia is nearing completion, and regulators are likely to soon issue a formal statement of objections, accusing the company of multiple anti-competitive practices. According to reports, the investigation began in 2023, when regulators raided Nvidia's French subsidiary, focusing on Nvidia's absolute dominance in the global GPU and AI cloud computing sectors. Under French antitrust law, if a violation is finally determined, Nvidia could face a maximum fine of 10% of its global annual revenue.
