Meta plunges 4% in pre-market trading

Golden Finance reported that on July 9, Meta dropped 4% in pre-market trading. On the news front, Meta plans to start producing "IRIS" AI chips in September and aims to double its computing power to 14 gigawatts next year. Meta plans to deploy 7 gigawatts of computing infrastructure this year. To expand its computing infrastructure, Meta has reached long-term, multi-year supply agreements, as shown in memos. These include a memory chip agreement with Samsung Electronics, a flash storage agreement with Sandisk, and a fiber optic equipment agreement with Sumitomo Electric.
