Grayscale CFO Steps Down, Appoints Two-Person Interim Successor

Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 10, according to CoinDesk, Grayscale’s Chief Financial Officer Edward McGee officially stepped down on July 2 after seven years in the role. The reason was personal matters, with no disagreement related to company operations. The company has appointed Kathryn Masci and Daniel Plourde as interim co-CFOs; Masci also serves as Chief Financial and Accounting Officer and has joined the board. Previously, Grayscale’s head of distribution John Hoffman also left last fall and recently joined the tokenized asset platform Ondo Finance. Meanwhile, due to unfavorable market conditions, Grayscale has paused its IPO plans, with the earliest possible restart potentially not until the fourth quarter.
