L2Beat research lead Donnoh stated that Robinhood Chain adopts a highly permissioned canonical bridge architecture, and its fraud proof system does not appear to be fully open, questioning why it still retains a 7-day withdrawal challenge period. He said he is increasingly skeptical that some L2s treat long withdrawal periods as a feature rather than a pure security requirement. Robinhood Chain's official documentation currently still states that its withdrawal process must wait for the Arbitrum-standard 7-day challenge period.

Donnoh makes a good point—it would be ridiculous if the long cycle turned into a business model.

Robinhood’s “this” bridge design locks up users’ fund liquidity, but institutions still end up profiting steadily.

7-day challenge period + permission bridge, this combination is indeed intriguing.
