Jinse Finance reports, on July 10, the UK-based Windward Maritime Analysis Company released a report on the 9th stating that due to continued US-Iran clashes, traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has sharply declined, and commercial vessel traffic leaving the Persian Gulf through the strait has essentially come to a standstill. The report said that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has seen significant fluctuations recently. On the 7th, 51 transits were recorded through the Strait of Hormuz, with the number of ships leaving the Persian Gulf surging to 35; on the 8th, 35 transits were recorded, and only two of the 18 departing vessels left via the southern route, indicating that after the attack the previous night, vessel operators chose to avoid the route near Oman; from the night of the 8th to the early morning of the 9th, only five transits were recorded through the Strait of Hormuz, with only one ship leaving the Persian Gulf.
