Meta releases Muse Spark 1.1 agent and programming AI model via Meta Model API and Meta AI
Meta has released an upgraded AI model, Muse Spark 1.1, which excels in agent capabilities, tool calling, programming, and computer operations. It can be used across desktop, mobile, and browser platforms, supports a 1 million token context window, and enables parallel sub-agents.
The model is now available in public preview through the new Meta Model API and has also been rolled out in the Thinking mode of the Meta AI application. Meta stated that Muse Spark 1.1 has achieved industry-leading performance across multiple benchmarks while maintaining lower costs than competitors.
Mark Zuckerberg also announced the model's release via his first X post since 2023.
