$XAU just shot up, more decisively than I expected. Not every call pans out, but this time XAU went from hesitation to momentum pretty cleanly—you could clearly feel it refusing to drop during the session.

I started acting around 3988.05, and the reasoning was simple: the previous few dips didn't shake people out, and instead, support at lower levels kept getting firmer. The real change came after a fake-out—the bears couldn't keep pushing, and the price quickly recovered.

By the time it reached 4121.75, the floating profit showed +311.86%, and I decided not to try eating the whole move. I took partial profits at a 70/30 split, locking in that gain while keeping the remaining position flexible to see if it could still open up more room.

I've seen this kind of market before—the easiest way to lose is to get trigger-happy after a win. Now, I'm not chasing, not fantasizing. When the next opportunity comes, I'll handle it.
