The $CHZ short I took finally paid off, but I’m not overly excited. This kind of price action looks smooth, but it’s actually the easiest to let your guard down—especially when short positions start triggering feedback.
I started watching CHZ when I noticed the upward momentum was getting heavier. Every push was immediately suppressed, meaning the bulls weren’t as firm as before. The real shift came after breaking below a key area—the retrace only gave a wick and didn’t pull the rhythm back. Many people overlook that detail.
From 0.01844 to 0.01694, +394.35% shows this short wasn’t wasted. I did think about exiting early, but the chart didn’t give a clear reversal signal, so I held it on my own rhythm for a while.
Now I don’t plan to eat up all the remaining space. I’ll move the stop loss lower and not give back the profit. One of the most counterintuitive things in trading is that the more you profit, the slower you should go. Missing the second half is better than giving back all your gains.
