I have been patient with this short position. $BTC was previously consolidating at a high level, and many thought it was building momentum to break upward, but what I saw was that the key resistance above was getting heavier, the price couldn't push higher, and danger began to accumulate.

After entering at 78051.2, I didn't panic over small pullbacks. The key was that the rebound highs never broke through. Now the price has reached 63315.3, and the gain is already +3282.94%. The trend extension is obvious. This kind of profit from a decline isn't about guessing; it's about waiting for the structure to give the answer before following.

The easiest mistake to make during the session is wanting to short at a key level after a drop, then fearing missing out when a rebound occurs. My approach is to first protect the profits, handle it with an 80/20 split: close the main position first, keep the tail portion with a protective stop and continue observing. If I can capture the remaining move, good; if not, no regrets.

Don't let trading be led by a single candle. Only when the rhythm is right can you have confidence. If you missed this move, don't chase. Don't chase trades. Wait for the next opportunity to act.
